Welcome to Wretched City RP — a semi-serious roleplay community focused on immersive, story-driven experiences with room for creativity and fun. Actions have consequences. Play your role, respect others, and help create quality roleplay for everyone.

Section 01

General

Wretched City RP is strictly 18+. Any player found to be under 18 will be removed.

Use Common Sense

Not every situation can be covered by written rules. Use common sense and act in good faith.

Respect & Conduct
  • Respect all players and staff.
  • Harassment, discrimination, excessive toxicity, or intentional disruption will not be tolerated.
  • Keep disagreements civil.
Semi-Serious Roleplay
  • This is a semi-serious server. While fun and creativity are encouraged, actions should still make sense within the roleplay environment.
  • Avoid unrealistic or troll behavior that breaks immersion.
In-Character (IC) vs Out-of-Character (OOC)
  • Keep IC and OOC separate at all times.
  • Handle IC issues through roleplay.
  • Handle OOC concerns through staff channels when necessary.
Staff Decisions

Staff decisions are final. Concerns may be discussed respectfully through proper tickets or appeals.

Rule Awareness
  • It is your responsibility to know and follow the server rules.
  • Ignorance is not an excuse.

Section 02

Roleplay Rules

Random Death Match (RDM)

Killing or seriously harming someone without valid roleplay reason or escalation.

Vehicle Death Match (VDM)

Using a vehicle as a weapon without proper roleplay reasoning.

Fail Roleplay (Fail RP)

Performing unrealistic actions, ignoring injuries, or acting in ways that break immersion.

Fear Roleplay (Fear RP)

Value your character's life. If outnumbered, outgunned, or at a major disadvantage, act accordingly.

Your character isn't invincible — play like it.
Power Gaming

Forcing actions on others or performing unrealistic actions without giving others a chance to respond.

Metagaming

Using information your character would not reasonably know through roleplay.

New Life Rule (NLR)

After death, your character forgets the events leading to that death and may not return for revenge or continue the same conflict.

Section 04

Lootboxing & NITRP

Looting TBD NITRP
  • All player interactions must be roleplayed appropriately.
  • Do not exploit game mechanics to gain an advantage.
  • Players are expected to contribute to roleplay and remain engaged in scenarios involving their character.
  • Repeated Lootboxing or NITRP may result in disciplinary action, including removal from the server.
Wretched City is a Kill or Rob server — you may kill a player OR rob them, but not both in the same interaction.

Section 05

Police Interactions

General Expectations
  • Respect law enforcement roleplay.
  • Police are players, not NPCs.
  • Fear RP applies during police encounters.
Resistance

Resistance is allowed when it makes sense, but unrealistic behavior is not.

Negotiations

Negotiation is encouraged and considered roleplay.

In Custody

Continue roleplaying appropriately after arrest or detention.

Police Expectations
  • Law enforcement must roleplay fairly, use proper escalation, and focus on creating roleplay rather than ending it.
  • Do not intentionally bait law enforcement for entertainment.

Section 06

Heist Activities

Heist activity is tied to the restart (TSU) schedule:

  • Heists may begin no sooner than 30 minutes after a TSU (restart).
